About our Club
Nestled beneath Cape Town’s famous and beautiful Table Mountain and surrounded by the scenic splendour of De Waal Park (Gardens, Cape Town), lies the home of Gardens Lawn Tennis Club.
Serving away with the mountain as your backdrop makes it almost impossible to concentrate on the game with the beauty of nature surrounding you. When the wind takes a rest and the sun creeps away over the Atlantic ocean it becomes the most perfect place to play tennis. Whether on the court with your game face on or off the court with a refreshing drink in your hand, Gardens Lawn Tennis Club welcomes you.
If you are in the area, feel free to join us for tennis or a refreshment. Please sign in via our visitor’s book and fees to play are R60 per player per session which must be placed into the honesty box prior to play. If you would like to become a member, please have a chat with any committee member present or refer to our joining page where you will find an application form which is self explanatory.
In conclusion Gardens Lawn Tennis Club offers tennis, competition, social, views, beer…whatever you are looking for, we have it! It’s the best tennis club in Cape Town to be at!
